Did the math and I'm at $87/month: ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, Cursor, and Midjourney. Each one earns its keep but the total keeps creeping. Where do you draw the line, and what did you cancel recently?

API pay-as-you-go instead of subscriptions where possible. My usage is spiky, so I save ~40% vs flat plans.

I rotate. One month heavy on design tools, next month writing tools. Annual plans are a trap for how I actually work.

Currency reality check from Nepal: $87 is serious money here. Free tiers + one paid tool. Constraints breed creativity 😄

$60 hard cap. Rule: every renewal date, one tool has to justify itself or it's gone. Cancelled two 'just in case' subscriptions last month.
