How do you make AI-generated content not sound like AI?

Every raw draft has the same tells: 'delve', 'moreover', rule-of-three sentences, and a conclusion that starts with 'In conclusion'. My current fix is a two-pass edit — one prompt to strip clichés, one human pass for voice. What's actually working for you?

Banned-words list in the system prompt. Ours is 40+ words long. Brutal but it works.

Write the first paragraph yourself, then let AI continue. The model anchors on your voice instead of its defaults.

Feed it three samples of your own writing first and ask it to match cadence, not vocabulary. Changed everything for me.
